That's my boy

i would think that being told as a child that boys do not care of baby dolls probably has something of a lasting effect into adulthood, not like if its a one time incident but i would find it hard to believe that a male child who grew up being told not to play with pretend children would not internalize some of the idea that the girls are the ones who take care of the real children too

I grew up playing without dolls and I turned out a fine man. One decides to be a good parent not playing with a doll at 3-4 years old. IGNORANCE!

It lets them practice being loving and nurturing. I've let both of my boys play with dolls and they are just fine. It's cute how gentle and loving they were with them. The point is, why is it made out like only girls take care of babies? It should be the childs choice on what they want to play with.
