Fighting isn't always brainwashing. For some it very well may be, but on the other side for some they certainly don't need it. Some people are born with that fire inside of them, like there are good artists, born with a natural talent for art there are good fighters, born with a natural talent to fight. Many fight for what they believe in, with no brainwashing needing to take place. But obviously some need encouragement, propaganda... Or as you could put it, brainwashing
