Why are grandparents racist

As somebody with one of those raspy voices, please know that it can be somewhat embarrassing to have, I have been told that I have a unfeminine voice and it makes me feel awful

Bc they grew up in a time where racism was a part of their everyday lives and they have adjustment problems

My cousin was dating some one who was black and when he would leave she would make awful jokes about him but I was like 5 so I was so confused why my cousin didn't talk to her for like a few months looking back it was super terrible stuff!
