I've thought that too but then I realized
Guys aren't stupid. They're mad about fake cheekbones and just fake facials structures. They know your eyelids aren't smokey or that your lips are firetruck red.
They have every right to do what they want with their face, but it they look COMPLETELY different with and without makeup men are understandably put off. It's like if a guy put a picture of him with abs but then you meet and he has a beer gut, you would be mad too.
Makeup can drastically alter your appearance. Some woman look completely, I mean completely, different without makeup. It's much different than wearing different clothes.
Yet they don't like girls who don't use make-up. They say they like "natural". Sure. Why would they get mad a girl w/o isn't as flawless as they are when they do have make up? They're so pretentious.
What do they know about make-up anyway? If you use make up every day your face will obviously look too different from the no-make up one! 'cause your natural beauty will opaque after cover it all the time. That's why once a girl start using make up will be a slave, she'll look sick, tired, or sad w/o it.
Not necessarily
If you don't use too much and know what you're doing, you shouldn't look too different. If you're only using makeup to bring out your eyes or cover up a few blemishes, that's fine. But I've seen many girls with way too much on and it's not necessary for that
So lets say to girls is wrong to use that quantity of make-up because that make boys have trust issues.
You can use only mascara everyday, the day you don't use that mascara you look weird as fuck.
The problem isn't caking your face in makeup, the problem is countouring yourself to oblivion and you look like you have a different facial structure altogether, and if you want to have a baby wih someone ( biologically or you are looking for a committed relationship ) how they look is sort of a big deal
If you're in a relationship as serious as the "lets-have-children-" relationship. I'm reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally sure you should already be reaaaaally used to not so flawless face of a girl w/o make up. You just don't go an have children with someone you haven't seen w/o make-up. That's really superficial and dumb.
Exactly. Guys always say they like the "natural" look, as long as "natural" is equivalent to Scarlett Johansson. But most of us don't look like that...and trust me, if we did, we sure as hell wouldn't be wearing makeup in the first place. Not to mention that, in a world that bases the societal value of females largely on how attractive they are, it's kind of hard to remain "natural" when you don't look like Miranda Kerr or Jennifer Lawrence.
@nerdsarecool1212
Boys aren't allowed to dislike how girls really look?
@alxx
"Guys always say they like the "natural" look"
No we don't that would be silly. That sounds like some hipster pick-up line.

>scarlett johansson doesn't wear make-up
"in a world that bases the societal value of females largely on how attractive they are"
>people think this is still true
Its not that they can't. But its hypocritical for them to be like "makeup just covers up the truth" but at the same time the natural look isnt good enough for them. Like they think the way Kim Kardashian looks is natural and thats what some seem to expect girls to look like. Although that's not the case for all
@guest
Fuck sake.

Why is it hypocritical for the truth to not be good enough for them?
@alxx
Because you can become scientists or politicians or engineers and be valued for that stuff, among other things.
The fact that there are female scientists/politicians/engineers doesn't negate the emphasis the world puts on the level of attractiveness of the female population.
@nerdsarecool1212
No "they" don't. It's not hypocritical to point out a falsehood and also not like the truth. Those aren't two mutually exclusive things.
@alxx
It doesn't negate it, but it's certainly a relevant factor.
Wait a sec. Kim Kardashian looks natural? And a a person working in media does not wear makeup at all? So after all you don't understand how makeup works.
Exactly! Why are we hating on people for wearing makeup? It takes so much time and practice and skill to make yourself look good. If someone knows how to contour or whatever, honestly, good for them! We shouldn't hate on them for doing it.
It's not selfish to want to look good for yourself and not care what anyone else thinks. If I think my makeup is on point enough for me, I'm not going to give a damn if Joe over there doesn't like it for whatever reason.

Where did anyone say that?
