that would defeat the point though wouldnt it? he spent the money because he wants to enjoy it without people distracting from the experience. he didnt spend the money to do good he spent the money to enhance his experience.
I would save the money, wait 2 weeks, then watch the movie for free in the comfort of my own home with nobody to bother me. Same result, but I also get half a year's worth of groceries paid for.
Yeah, hopefully they just barge in and sit down. Just to teach him a lesson.

You guys act like other theaters aren't showing it too and other screens in the same theater aren't either.... and if anyone comes in a sits down they will be escorted out
Personally, I just don't think the kind of person who would spend that much money just to be an asshole should have things go their way. Other theaters and the movie itself are irrelevant to that point.
If I have 3000 and spend 2000 on tickets, I'm an idiot. If I have 3 million and spend 2000 on tickets, it's a choice. If he gets $2000 worth enjoyment out of it, then he's good at money management
What does it matter that he bought all the tickets to a showing? It's his money to spend. There are and will be other showings of the movie that people can go see.
