here's the thing- if your daughter made that village, then she obviously spent time and effort making it nice. burning it down is just unkind and will absolutely not resolve anything; it'll just make your daughter cry.

Make a backup of the world file (and verify that it is indeed backed up by playing the backed up file because you'll royally fuck her over if you don't) and then go ham on the original file.
