Also, in a series of 1000 flips, you will have a run of 6 heads in a row or 6 tails in a row.

Plus there is still the small chance that it will land on its edge (provided the surface is flat)

I think they are talking about the physics, not the probability.

both of these are scientifically sound. also if you are wondering the reason for the penny one is the heads side has more weight than the tails side so it nomally lands face down.
