Still, build some kind of moral sense, so that you will not do shit that is morally wrong (like f*cking your best friend's girlfriend while he spends a year in military forces or killing whoever you do not like). But yeah. Do what you will.

Serial killers don't kill to be happy, they kill so that they can get some relief from their despair and anger.

True (not that I know THAT much about serial killers and their emotions), but I think, in a way, that is a type of search for happiness. I do think you pointed out a really good, subtle difference though.
