Of course it didn't catch on! Why would anyone care to see that? Besides, wouldn't it just be dark? Even if there is a light on there too you wouldn't see more than a centimeter or so ahead of the camera. That's why, when they do a laparoscopic surgery, they have to fill the cavity of interest with air so they can see what they're doing instead of the flesh being just right up against the camera lens.
You'd be surprised how many people would be into that. I mean cmon, there are groups of people who like shitting in each other's mouths. This is not far-fetched
