I did this the day before a project was due, forgot to finish it and ended up handing it in 8 weeks late, but the teacher is really fucking cool so she only deducted 10% so o ended up having 82% for the project
Depends on the professor. I had some that definitely wouldn't, 'cuz that's how they rolled, some that wouldn't, because that's just how the online submission system worked, and some that would, because they know that life just gets in the way sometimes.
Yeah as a university professor, when this happens (and it does a lot) I check the properties of the word file... it shows date and time the file was created and the last time it was modified. Then you fail the assignment/project.
Unfortunately for my uni this wouldn't work :( Any coursework like reports, we have a link to a submission program called Turnitin in your personal profile on the uni website. You basically upload ur file there if ur on track for the due date. Once its passed the due date the box closes and the 'late' box opens so theres no way of submitting anything. We get capped 40% for late...x
I used Moodle in college but not at uni. But not for assignments, it was basically the college's personal page where you can see your profile, assessments, grades etc
