Lauren Hill lived in Cincinnati, which is where I live. Even though I didn't know her, I feel honored to have shared a city with such a brave young woman.
She doesn't deserve this award, it's a brave thing she did but it doesn't make her a better person than the other participants who deserved it much more in my opinion
@jwdahl91 I'm gonna have to go ahead and cut in here. There's a difference between sex and gender. She is a woman because she identifies with being one. It doesn't matter whether her biological parts are male. She's a massive homophobic idiot, and I don't like her at all, but please don't intentionally misgender her. Thanks and peace.
No like he's genetically a male so he's a male. I don't care how you identify yourself, you are what you are. I'm sure murderers don't see themselves as murderers but alas they are.

Okay, murderers are not 'genetically' murderers, so that example makes no sense. Also, being transgender is due to emotional and mental development, meaning that they genetically are mentally different from their physical sex.
Are you aware of the mass amount of Transgender people on this site?

Nobody is born good or evil, sarcastic or gullible, friendly or secretive. These are all choices we make, because it is not specifically assigned at birth. You don't condemn someone for being more friendly than you, do you? And those are choices. Something like how many figers you have is not a choice you can make a genetically, and neither is your gender. You're born with it, and you eventually figure it out. People like you need to have everyone as the same, so the traditional 'boy' and 'girl' mentalities were made. But like those choices I mentioned, you aren't born into them. You find them over time. Sex is whether you have male reproductive organs or female, and that's it. Gender is what you really are, and more specifically, what you feel you truly are, instead of what people try to make you.
well whatever if we wanna talk about we'll talk about it

That is really really stupid in my eyes.
To speak about something once a month that doesn't even affect you like you must is both pointless and stupid. Soon, it'll become bland to even speak about this woman.
Okay, whatever you think, but your opinion is not everyone's

Of course it's not.
I'm just saying what I'm saying.
And you, as expected with any group of people, will disagree.
Speaking of which, what /is/ your opinion on this?
well my opinion, and I assume the rest of this group that I've been chating with's opinion, correct me if I'm wrong guys, is that we wish that "Katelynn, probs spelled that wrong" Jenner is considered brave and amazing, and was even voted woman of the year, but we think that she not brave or any of that, and we wish someone like Lauren Hill who deserved it would have been acknowledged instead of this, not really even woman.

and I agree with that.
But what I'm saying is that we've been over this many many times, and I'm seeing the exact same reactions from some of the exact same people.
One thing real quick: Caitlyn Jenner is a female, and your transphobia does not excuse you from using her correct name and pronouns. You don't get to decide what gender someone is or isn't just because you don't support the trans* community.
Who the hell cares

If you said that earlier, I would've understood completely
