I don't know how to use a needle so I let a nurse vaccinate them instead

I'm curious.. which ones do you think aren't really needed? No harsh feelings or judgments, I'm currently writing a paper for school and am interested in what you think.

Well, Chicken Pox for one, since it's kinda just normal to get it. Besides, once you have the chicken pox once, you won't get it again, though you may get shingles. The Influenza vaccination I find kinda dumb. And then there's the ones like Hep C and such, which I think you shouldn't really bother getting unless you have the possibility of coming in contact with someone else's blood. Those are just the few I can think of off the top of my head, though I think there are some more unnecessary ones.

Interesting thing I've found out in my research with my paper, about 20% of people who get vaccinated with chicken pox didn't develop full immunity to the virus and its slightly higher for people who didn't get the vaccine and got it normally. Influenza I definitely understand for a lot of people it isn't worth it, but the more people that get vaccinated the less likely someone who it could hurt will get it and less likely for a mutation to occur that makes it worse. Hep C that is definitely the old school of thought because it was really only people with certain lifestyles that would get it, but lately so many people have it that are careful that its getting to be a good one to get for a lot of people.

While I think not getting your kids vaccinated is irresponsible, I agree that we should still be questioning the treatments doctors give.The health care system is far from perfect and you are your child's advocate and your own advocate and an advocate for elderly parents.

I agree, but part of being an advocate is being responsible and knowledgeable about the said topic which I think is where a lot of people fail.
