There was a gymnast gym near where I live that used to host birthday parties and I loved going there for my birthday, but those things scared me for the same reason those diving pools scared me: sharks. But then I got over it and jumped in and I loved it. I just had fun in them
At another place they have this giant plastic (strong plastic not that shit stuff at the shops but to be honest I wonder what that would be like) that they inflate and the way they desc I be it it sound exactly the same except they can see you (which means embarrassing videos) and rolling out doesn't work :/
I was in gymnastics for a couple years, and had no clue people hated these things until now....they were fun as hell! And it's not at all about being un-athletic, it's just, well........common sense. Know that applying a large amount of pressure on one point of a voluminous, non-massive surface and that pressure will penetrate. Keeping yourself spread out like that last person said is what worked, but it was still possible to navigate without doing exactly that, just do what polar bears do on thin ice: Keep your weight distributed over at least three points and you're good.
I've always loved these pits
