you can see this phenomenon hard at work on facebook trending topics... if you click on it and go to the page people posting the links, they are only posting it because they are mad its news. but they made it news by sharing it. they shared it so much that it made it t front page trending. we have created this system that feeds us news we hate by bitching so hard about the news we hate!

Another way to see this is that there would be no nip slip to speak of if female nipples weren't regarded as inherently sexual and offensive and needing to be covered up... you know... Like if they were treated the same as male nipples.

It would be great if we could all protest shit like this. The sad part is that even if we did protest, others would still provide the media with an audience. This world is F-ed up.

Well the rock made news because he jumoed into his own pool to save his puppy...i love the rock and im not feminazzi or w/e but if this was a guy they would have just commented on the heroic act. Granted men don't experince "nip slips" but this should have just read heidi klum saves her son and nanny!
