For those who are complaining here about it

It's implying that when people laugh at someone trying to attempt to better educate themselves with another language and another culture, it makes them not want to even try at all, and consequently makes others not want to attempt it at all either for fear of being made fun of, which creates an even bigger divide between cultures and cultural tolerance. So, though you may find it funny to laugh at people who are struggling to educate themselves, sometimes it's best to keep your laughter to yourself and let them fucking learn- tactfulness and common decency would tell you that.

Those people should harden up. I'm not throwing eggs at them, just chuckling.
