****SPOILERS****
Basically, Tyler was just a figment of (main character)'s imagination. While Protagonist thought Tyler was doing all the Project Mayhem and Fight Club stuff, it was actually the Protagonist. It explains why the Protagonist has insomnia - he's actually awake all night, thinking that he's Tyler, doing Tyler things, but then never remembers any of it. Crazy movie, fantastic premise, A++
It can't "almost" make it onto a flight. It either did or it didn't. That's like saying you almost saw something run by. Either you saw it or you didn't.
Yea if there was not tsa agent to find it, it would have made it but since there was one it almost made it... you're trying to be witty but you're not so you're *almost* witty.... see how that works? Or do you need another example
No i'm not trying to be witty. I'm just saying you can't almost do something especially if it's something like that. Like you said if the TSA agent wasn't there it would've made it on the plane but since there was one there it didn't make it on the plane. There is no possible way to say that it almost made it. The gun can't almost do anything. Since it didn't make it on the plane it didn't make it, not it almost made it. It either did something or it didn't do something there is no in between. That's like saying I almost got out of bed today. But if I didn't the correct thing to say would just be I didn't get out of bed. There is no almost.

It got to the checkpoint and no further therefore it almost did. By your logic the word alost shouldn't even exist. You can trip and almost fall it's phrasing you can almost fall and not fall both are correct. Here's the definition and use of it in a sentence by definition Almost-not quite; very nearly.
"he almost knocked Georgina over". Yes you could say he didn't knock Georgina over. But using almost is also correct. You are either trying to seem smarter than you are or just sadly misinformed.
I'm not either of those things and I know how to use almost but in this instance you could just say the gun didn't make it onboard because of the TSA agent. The whole point of the post was saying that the agent stopped the gun. You could just say the gun didn't make it on because of the TSA agent. There is no way to tell if the gun would've made it on or not. If you look at my original comment I was just saying in this instance that it didn't not that it almost.

You were correcting a guest the post doesn't use the word almost. You were pointing out something that was in fact not wrong you just disagreed on how it was worded, it was not incorrect. You also said you almost do anything which is incorrect.
Exactly my point that the post doesn't use the word almost. And the guest was incorrect because there is no way to tell if the gun almost made it on, we can only say that it didn't.

It made it to the airport and made it to the baggage check I'd say that's almost
No need to be a cunt about it bro . Jus sayin, they don't do the actual stuff. They're only used as like a blanket, so Terrorists sort of think that's the security they'll be dealing with meanwhile CIA and FBI peeps do the real nitty grit

So when I go to the airport the tsa that checks my carryon on pats me down is fbi and cia? Because I'm pretty sure they're TSA and I'm also pretty sure they've stopped weapons and such from getting on the planes... Yes FBI and CIA track known terrorist but if average Joe decides to bring a gun on the plane TSA is the only thing between average Joe getting on that plane with the gun or being stopped.
I guess they didn't have room for that sign.
*stares blankly*
