Yeah, but it is their parade. The people organize it and get all the people together and get all the right permits. If you don't want to be there or take part in it, don't.
Very true, but thatoneguy never said he was taking part in it. Whether or not someone participates, it still occurs. Organizing large events that specifically and exaggeratedly adhere to stereotypical appearances is probably not helping the "stop stereotyping" agenda. It happens to other groups, too. For instance, any fandom at movie premiers, comic con, etc.
