I was a bank teller at the time and was flooded with stupid people thinking they were about to lose their money. I repeated the same dialogue hundreds of times.

The computers had to go from the 1900's to the 2000's for their dating systems, the computers abbreviated the year as two digits like '99 but then it would go to '00 and they thought everything would break and the world would end.
