Shona is back in court in January I'm not sure how the court system works in America but sounds like it's going to be long and drawn out with Shona suing everyone involved
Some reports in newspapers are saying that could be her maximum sentence if found guilty on all charges but as far as I can tell a couple of charges could be argued out by a decent lawyer quickly
Ok... So the affluent kid is not guilty because "was unable to link his bad behavior with consequences because of his parents teaching him that wealth buys privilege". Poor kid ¬¬ Then, HIS PARENTS SHOULD GO TO JAIL!!! It's their fault after all, rigth?

This is all so stupid I don't even want to comment
Affluenza boy's parents obviously bought a great attorney, and apparently 12 of the absolute stupidest single-celled organisms on the planet.
Officer Mearkle, on the other hand, was faced with a suspect who fled when she tried to stop him, resisted arrest, still would not comply after she tasered him, and repeatedly hid his hands from her when she told him not to, leading to a possibility that he was reaching for a weapon. The incident was caught on video, leaving little room for her to lie her way out.
Pot mom's problem is NOT that the poor woman is being unfairly targeted for having a little green for medical reasons. This is primarily a child endangerment case. Apparently there was a lot of drug use in the home, by more than just Banda, and in front of the child, Also noteworthy is the fact that she is an activist for marijuana use, not just some innocent and sickly soccer mom just trying to live long enough to take care of her son.
Furthermore, she was charged with intent to distribute, meaning she had a lot more pot than just for personal medical use.
From what I have seen story 1 is beyond bullshit, while stories 2 and 3 seem to be about right.
1. Crohn's disease isn't deadly.
2. Smoking weed with your son and his girlfriend isn't a form of treatment.
3. Leaving your weed, pipes, and vaporizers laying around withing easy reach of your other 11-year old son is, at the very least, poor judgement.
4. Life isn't fair. Get used to it.
I was just confused because I couldn't find any evidence saying that she faces 28 years
