Eh not exactly. When we got one of my cats as a kitten, he was really mean. He loved to bite and scratch at you. He's an adult now and he's a lot nicer but he still has his moods.

Yeah cats are assholes. Even the "nice" ones seen to only want attention when you're trying to do something. Cat- "I've seen you sitting there all night but you looked like you wanted your space. Ok, you got your laptop out? You must want me to sit on your keyboard now!"
