And what if I told you that you can ban an account but not a guest.. I'm fine with guest being able.to view the website just not comment.

They can get IP banned if they bad an account, though. So then they couldn't made annoying comments.

IP bans are so easy to get around if you're moderately tech savvy

Actually, I'd say they are. Guests can also be IP banned, and many of the hate spewing ones have gotten around it.
It's can be done unknowingly even. It's simple enough to be done by accident.
