My samsung survived a bucket of water, several bouncing of bed, falling on the ground while I was horse riding, two times a flight of stairs, and knowing me probably some more times just randomly dropping without a crack.

I've dropped my samsung galaxy so many times on hard floor and its never cracked.

^^ all this plus the comparison of these two phones doesn't make much sense. I have a Samsung GT-B2100 that survived some rough shit, including being sunk in an aquarium, being run over by a car and falling 3 meters down on concrete, but thats a telephone and not a microcomputer.
