A little wall putty will fix it no problem. But a hole that small a pit of paint would fill it up....

use the binder clips and then tape them to the wall

You'd have to use some strong tape like duct tape and that will also make more of a mess than a tiny pin hole

You could put tape on the binder clip and stick it to the wall without damaging the wall or the poster

yeah and then you leave holes in the wall. just use blu-tack
