The only spiderman in our hearts

There is no other Spider-Man. I haven't even bothered watching the newer ones due to the distinct lack of Tobey Maguire

Garfield wasn't a bad Spider-Man, but Toby captured the nerdy and heroic side of Spider-Man, while Andrew was just too cool and cocky

Unpopular opinion: I actually hated Tobey as spider man I think Andrew captured him a lot better and hopefully the new guy can portray him even better than his predecessors.

I think Tobey portrayed more of a 1950's Spider-Man with his upright morals and demeanor. Andrew Garfield is more modern in that his nerdiness came from his lack of social skills and vocalization (in a lot of his interactions with other people you could see him visually struggling to make sentences and interact, which i thought was great acting on his part). Personally I prefer Garfield's portrayal because I relate to him better, but Tobey was great too for his time.

Tobey made a better Peter Parker. Garfield made a better Spiderman.
