Well, Iron Man did create a robot that tried to take over. But that's biased. I'm a superman kind of guy myself.

When i saw superman i was like wtf why does it have to be so destructive. My bf said i was thinking too much....ha! I'm not alone!

When it first came out there were alot of people who said they had panic attacks because it triggered flash backs of 9/11.
I wouldn't go that far but I did find it gratuitous in the destruction area.

In all honesty I have seen Roland Emmerich movies with less destruction than Man of Steel.
