I still have a voicemail my dad left me. I played it on speakerphone on one phone and recorded it with another so I will always have it.

most phones that have voicemail can transfer them to a computer as an audio file. that would keep the sound quality from slightly going down every time its recorded. you would have whatever version of it its on now.

I found an old video on YouTube of my sister in high school . She died in a car wreck her freshman year and it's surprising how much I missed her voice
