Its a bra strap. So a tiny strip of fabric that can only be seen every once in a while on someone who is in no way intending to be suggestive, and needs the bra out of necessity, is too provocative for any given male to do their job or study? It's absurd. Not every bra is sexual in nature.
I totally agree, guys at school sag their pants to their knees and no one says anything, but the tiniest hint of a bra strap and the universe collapses
You need feminism because your underwear is showing? What do you think of guys who wear pants and shorts that show their underwear? Get off your high horse.
I think it's the fact that bra straps fall ALL THE time, but men's pants don't. They can get belts to hold their pants up. But if a girl doesn't notice her bra strap fell she gets in trouble but I hardly ever see boys being written up for sagging, just told to fix it.
I've never seen a girl in trouble for a bra strap only told to fix it. At my school if your pants sag they give you a string to tie your pants like a belt. The only teacher who ever really gave a shit about how girls dressed was an old woman who retired a couple years ago.
Underwear sagging is in most cases a choice, you choose to look thuggish. Bras are an entire different thing. The straps are a pain in the butt, either too tight and hurt or too loose and occasionally fall.
As far as not getting in trouble, girls get sent home for showing their shoulds or collar bone. Yes, they get in trouble for showing a bra strap.
we need feminism because it's ridiculous that boys "focus" is more important than a girl's education. Girls get sent home or sent to ISS all the time because they have shoulders showing or their pants are too tight or something similarly stupid because god forbid the boys get distracted by a shoulder.
This is absolutely ridiculous
Oh so I like looking at guys' arms so now what? All the guy must wear long sleeves, no more rolled?
The neck is sexy too so what? You must wear scarf 24/7?
Of course it's school, professional environment, everyone should dress politely but don't be so freaking ridiculous, it's just shoulders, collar bones...
I remember reading about a girl who was kicked from her prom because she could fill out her dress better than other girls ( despite other girls wearing shorter skirts and showing more cleavage ) because it was making the male chaperones uncomfortable
It's underwear. It's not supposed to be seen. Not because it's sexual, just because ill that's not what it's designed for. That's the beginning and the end of it.
Not really. Most girls bra straps just fall because that shit happens all the time. It happens accidentally but you think girls should still be getting in trouble because of it ?
I dont think its fair. Saying that women should be able to have their bra strap or bra showing is not fair. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against it. But people bombard the male culture with the premise that they are wrong or degenerate if there boxers are showing, which i do agree looks stupid, but if women are complaining that they should be able to have there bra or straps in view stop then they need to let men do what they want too.
...same for men... Literally sometimes our underwear is visible. Same as women's. It isn't really fair to say that we should leave women alone about it but still be able to ridicule men for it?
Regardless of whether men show their underwear on purpose or not (and often times it is on purpose) "ridiculing them" is not the same as taking them out of class and making them miss valuable learning time. Usually the worst that would happen is someone tells them to pull up their pants and then everyone gets on with their day. It's not the same.
and a bra strap is more like... the suspenders for the undergarments, like sure the bra itself should be in the shirt, but the strap? it is its own thing so theres really nothing to directly compare it too, but the idea that to wear all these different clothes kids just blooming need to get 20 types of bras to have different straps so they dont show is silly even as an adult i dont do that, a strap is just there.

And that dress code, excuse me for my language, is bullsh*t
It's not applie for colleges and universities right?
