SHINee is very popular, yes. But I think you're mixing up two different bands. :P What's been popping up here recently is another kpop group called BTS, also widely popular. :)
It's a silly nickname a friend game me around 5 years ago or so. It was supposed to be a mix between Taemin and Minho, and it turned into Taeminnie, I added the ah later, after hearing around a lot as something you add to a friends name or someone your affectionate to.

Yes, it was actually very close! I know that -ah is added to the end of a name of a close person, and I figured it might've been Taemin. :D It's really cute
