I wouldn't say mind blown... It was glaringly obvious when watching it that it was basically just Ep IV copied and pasted. I enjoyed the movie, but this was one of the biggest things that gave it a low rank in my mind.

Luke lost the light saber in Cloud City, down a very deep shaft. I don't think there were Jawas crawling around the city's bowels.

Actually, it was a shaft that emptied itself into Bespin (a gas giant planet). If the lightsaber fell into the planet, it is theoretically possible (however unlikely) that someone could have found it. But you would have to really be relying on the Force wanting someone to find it because it is so unlikely that it's kinda hard to buy.
