YES. I listen to classical and jazz most of the time, but my friends think that's "boring".

Classical music is beautiful. I also love modern piano pieces composers (not sure if I can call it classical as the music is far less megalomaniac) such as Einaudi, Tiersen and Cacciapaglia.

Einaudi and Tiersen are amazing. Yiruma is other pianist. It's fantastic.

I only ever say that when stuck up hipster "I was born inthe wrong genration" cunts try and diss my EDM lifestyle. "OMG it's all the same sounds and chords and stuff"

At my school we have this thing called pasta and pops where the music groups get to play non classical music. In orchestra, a lot of the songs were only interesting in the violin section and the other sections just had repeating notes. But we also played Radioactive which had a bunch of shifting in cello, and last year we played Harry Potter, which was super hard but ridiculously fun.

This hit home. You never realize how repetitive a pop song is until you have to learn it sheet music wise.

Yeah but like most people don't look at the sheet music when listening to a song with their EARS

Those who are good at music shit know how the notes would look like on the paper. It's like saying "It can't SOUND boring when I read the words with my EYES".
