The worst games for this are ds games because most of them don't always have a visible object. Pokemon being the absolute worst.

But you know what's also really bad? Coming back to a town in animal crossing, and finding out that everything has gone to shambles. Weeds everywhere, your favorite villager moved out, etc., etc.
