Ya I was about to say: I'm fairly certain the idea of achieving a complete state of bliss, a true content with yourself and the world around you is a pretty damn "Eastern" idea.
Being happy 24/7 isn't healthy. Otherwise there's so much less to look forward to. Being content 24/7 is alright because it indicates that you accept things as they are.
I'd have to say I disagree. I chase happiness because it has been teaching me to find happiness in most situations I'm put in, and I always remember that I I have a goal to never settle. I don't like the sentence "Just be a person" that sounds depressing to me somehow. People kinda suck, ya know? I don't wanna be like people. I wanna be happy. I dunno, I think my strategy has been working so far :p
Aim to be a happy person by searching inside.
