They make something like this you can get in other countries too. Like in the U.S. you can get these things kind of like a bassinet but it goes right against the bed. Called a co-sleeper. Then you can have baby close while you sleep but no danger of rolling over on it. Especially useful for an infant when you know they're waking up every few hours or so and/or you're nursing.
Unless you aren't breast feeding you want your child right next to you. You don't want to have to get up to feed.
