Of course we accept it.It is indeed part of our heritage and culture and we are taught our mythology early in school.It may be thousands of years ago,but it's still US.

Well, they are just myths, and not actual events, but believe it or not, most Greeks know more about ancient Greece than our more recent history. We are even taught ancient Greek.

Absolutely, 6 years of ancient greek, but we are not fluent. We just learn the grammar, structure, and translate some ancient texts. And then whoever wants to expand their knowledge on ancient greek,they study it in college. Where are you from?

I'm English. At my school there is the option to learn Greek and Latin but hardly any other schools do. But wow six years.
