Oh look, another sassy comeback denouncing the education system. How original. How about you just sit down, shut up and do the damn homework. Appreciate your education.
Yeah, but you've got six, maybe seven other teachers max, and typically not all of them assign homework, or their homework can be done during some class time. Depending on your school size, there's around 20ish other kids in your class alone. How many other classes does she have? Up to six or seven. That's 7 vs. 140 in the same amount of time. Oh wait, you probably didn't do your math homework either, you don't know what that means.
I'm just speaking from experience, guest. A lot of my teachers give more worksheet based homework, and depending on the class, we occasionally get a few minutes of work time, or there will be work time in another class that I'll use. Or if they give the assignment before teaching it, I'll often just do it instead of listening in class, which is why I haven't had math homework in about three months.
And yes, worksheets are a lot easier to grade. Except nearly every class is incredibly essay-based, except most math classes. History, English, ever had to write a lab report for science? If not, consider yourself lucky as fuck, I hate those things. But even so, those worksheets still require cross referencing each student's off a key. It takes a while, especially when they don't want to give half the class back the homework at a time.
