Okay, look, I agree people who do the same crime need the same punishment, but you are shitting on your own case by using shit examples. The left is a report written by BBC directly. The right IS A QUOTE. There are quotation marks. The full Daily Mail sentence it was quoting: "A female tutor seduced a 13-year-old boy during a lesson at his home before abusing him during regular sex sessions that went on for two years, a court heard today." In case anyone was wondering, both of these people were found not guilty of the charges.
Well, in the woman's case, the accuser was a now-35-year-old-man with a drug problem who said when it happened he enjoyed it but only just decided it had been rape. She's a tutor with a ton of references saying her reputation is spotless and she said he was kind of odd as a kid and none of what he said ever happened at all. In the man's case, he met the girl on a "seeking sugar daddies" matching site and believed she was 17 and legal, and she traveled all the way from another country to visit him. He was on an adult-geared website, not trawling schoolyards or kids chat rooms.
