so instead of typing "why are oranges orange?" into google and clicking the first link (hell you don't even need to click the link sometimes for questions like this it comes up in a box) you will:
1) google a meme generator
2) type the entire phrase "I don't know why oranges are orange and at this point im too afraid to ask" A phrase that is much longer than the original one
3) post it and wait however long it takes for someone else to actually give enough of a shit to answer the question for you.
You end up doing more work in a longer time period than just googling it

Because it's better to get it from other human beings :)
