No Mongols either. Athens, Sparta, Jericho, China, nearly all ancient cities had walls to protect themselves. Seems like a good idea.

The Great Wall of China was a horrible idea. Devasted the Chinese people to built it and wasn't efficient. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it

Here's the thing, terrorists and drug dealers have the money and means to get into the country regardless of a wall. In the mean time we are incarcerating more of our own citizens than almost any other country in the world INCLUDING RUSSIA.
