My mom's dog used to collect my socks and put them by her bed, he figured "Mom likes the boy, and these smell like him, so they will make her happy."

There was a point last year where I just couldn't help it and just broke down one night. I was outside with my dog and he didn't have anything to bring but he literally jumped up and essentially did the best he could to hug me and kept licking my face until I was done. I love my dog.
