But the problem is it actually does cost less to produce it (fast food). So unless you tax fast food at super high rates (forcing companies to raise their prices and consumers to pay more) and/or have a government rebate sort of process for fresh produce and meat, it's going to remain the way it is.

Yes, i was going to say same...but same for orgamix. Takes longer to grow organic than fruits and veggies with fertilizers and pesticides. Hence, the price. Sucks though...

Processed foods in the grocery store are actually more expense by volume. If you shop the perimeter of the store and stick to mostly unprocessed food you will save money and live healthier. We don't do that because it takes more times to prep means.
