If only beautiful people did this and that with each other, the breeding pool would be a lot smaller. This means more chances for inbreeding, which I'm sure explains some of the people at Walmart, or at least in the southern US.

Plenty of non ascetically pleasing people reproduce. If anything, I think they have a better shot now.
