Maybe she asked the others who are standing if they wanted to sit? Some people do enjoy standing. Probably not the case but a picture doesn't always tell the full story.

It's not a matter of her asking. The selfish bitch has her feet on a chair, when most public transport I've been on expressly forbids it (with $100+ fines). It takes up valuable space, and it's gross because who knows where her filthy trotters have been?
