I'm reading the Inheritance Cycle and the original Percy Jackson books aren't too bad. It's just Harry Potter is so over hyped that I go into hipster-mode and dislike it.
I suggest reading it, that series has been my favorite since I was a kid, and it was my gateway drug into fandoms. Please don't avoid something because you think it's overhyped.
I'll avoid what I want.
