There was a girl in my class at school who cried after one of our mock exams because she had an A and wanted an A*. I had a B, and was pretty proud of it because I'm awful at Chemistry, and she said: "You really shouldn't be proud of that, it just shows you haven't revised" which was nice of her to say.

I tried to find the joke in his/her username. All I got was k.b ;-;
I am awful at Chemistry. Abysmal really. But my initials in my name are KB. And I'm really uncreative with usernames, so thought 'Oh yeah, potassiumboron will do, just sign me up'

Don't worry, I suck at chemistry to. I barely scrapped by on the ends of my teeth with a very low D
I ended up with a low C, which I was chuffed with to be honest. I never have and never will be good at Science, I've come to terms with that. And Maths, I suck at Maths.
I am sort of one of these people, however i try my best not to and the only reason I do this is because my parents have expectations that rival asians so...
As that person in class I'm given unrealistic standards and have to perform the best and that's incredibly stressful. Once this girl turned to me after the whole class was picking on me for winning Kahoot for the 5th time that week and she said "That's what you get for being smart.".

What, naturally smart people deserve to burn? Idiocracy is not far off I fear.
Once i was on the verge of tears because I got a 96% on a test instead of the 100% I usually get in that class, and everyone, including the teacher, were like "stfu ur good". But I think the thing that really bothered me was I only got one question wrong. It's just every question was worth 4%.
The dux in my grade, who was a douche, was boasting to some other classmates of mine about how her lowest mark she received EVER was 89% and how she felt really depressed afterwards. If that was me, I'd be so happy, I'd through a taco party for myself
