Better how? Better where everyone gets "triggered"? Better where everyone is afraid to get sued? Better where everyone's work ethic is terrible and get still bitch about why they can't get a job?

Better how? Better where war isn't mandatory? Better where genders are treated far more equally? Better where the life expectancy is many decades greater? Better where queer people and people of color can exist without being hunted and persecuted? Better where we can have almost all of our desires and needs meet? Are you honestly trying to tell me the quality of life was better in the 40s?

Now it seems you're trying to tell me sending 18 year olds off to war is a good thing, but no sensible person would agree with that so I must be wrong in inferring that from the image.

Its demonstrating a difference in mentality and entitlement. During the world wars 18 year olds (and many younger who snuck in) signed up to fight and die for the freedom of the world, compared to the whiners of today who need safe spaces. Which they can only have because of said previous generations who fought and died for freedom.

I think what this post meant to convey was that 18 year olds were expected to be stronger, more mature individuals a generation ago. Face it, today our feelings are babied and our insecurities indulged. I don't agree with war in any way, just to clarify.
