Actually no. For years I have been trying to watch certain clips on YouTube, but have been unable to do so even though it's British and 'blocked in my country'.

Blocked and copyright claimed are two different things. Ubisoft UK wasn't their official YouTube channel in the UK, either: it was some random guy.
