But seriously shit like this is incredibly misleading and in some regards just factually inaccurate. Saying this is "In response to an increase in min wage" Is like saying Israels human right abuses from 2002-2011 are related to the iraq war. Sure, they take place in a somewhat similar area, and some VERY minor aspects may effect one another, but they still acted almost completely independently and had little if not nothing to do with each other.

They're in the process of raising it- You never go from a min wage less then 8 bucks and hour straight to 15. That would be terrible. You always do a gradual transition.
I was going to say, Mcdonalds will be fine regardless because they are already making a fuck ton of money, but that's not where the problem lies. The problem is the small businesses. Now I don't know the details of the bill, so there maybe a clause in it with exemptions, but I imagine not, so I know small businesses will suffer. They are already struggling as it is.
In the short run, small buisnesses will be hurt a bit. In the long run, it will help improve the economy as a whole (Long story short, consumer spending. Ill talk more about it later when im not in class)
