Spiderman always holds back anyway. Hes proven himself to be strong enough to kill a t-rex with a single punch, yet holds back with thugs. After the 'other' storyline, hes even stronger.

What about in the ending of Spider-Man 2 when he holds up that huge wall to save Mary Jane? He's not downplayed in every movie, that wall must've been heavy af

Pretty sure he once punched Hulk into space with a single punch.

Spider-Man blocked Bucky's punch with a single hand without a problem. The bionic hand that can punch through concrete and rip apart S.H.I.E.L.D. armor SUV, and Falcon EXO-7 suit. That was when he had had his powers only for 6 months. In the comics, his powers kept increasing and now he's more than twice as strong as in the beginning in the comics(without any of those cosmic thingies powering him).
