Idk man, I just searched why do we squeeze cute things and a couple articles came up about cute aggression. Dunno about the reliability.

Cute aggression yes but I saw nothing about us wanting to kill it to stop the cuteness. The cute aggression was said to be associatee with frustration because we couldn't hold it and take care of it.
