What's bad about that?

He chose people based on gender, not on merit. There are people who would have done a better job that didn't get the position because of their gender.

what a load of crap, but I'm not surprised since it came from our local troll. the pm didn't cast random women from the street for his cabinet, every single one of them is just as qualified for their position as the men are.

For any given position one MP will be the best fit for it. Because the vast majority of MPs are men, it follows that the vast majority of those who are the best fit for the various positions in the cabinet will be men. Trudeau deliberately gave a higher priority to gender balance than to choosing who is the best fit, so obviously some of those women are not the best fit for their position.
